Keypad Bus
Add Honeywell 6160, 6150, 6160V, 6270, or 6271CV keypads. Drag each added keypad by its title bar; positions are collision-blocked and saved. Addresses 17–23 are governed by fields *190–*196.
Function Key Labels
Choose an independent physical label for keys A–D. Selecting a named label also programs its matching function. No Label Applied disables that function key; installer *57 can later assign a function without changing the blank physical label.
Zone Devices
Add wired or 5800-style RF devices. Zones 01-08 are hardwired-only; RF devices require zone 09 or higher. Device state feeds the same VISTA zone engine used by *56.
Monitoring Center
Simulated central-station receiver for reports transmitted by Vista Emulator DELUXE. Duress reports are silent at the keypad and are highlighted here.
Receiver online
0 received events Alarm reports follow each zone's programmed report code. Open/close and bypass reports appear when their corresponding report fields are enabled.
No central-station transmissions received yet.
Duress user setup: create user NN, then set its authority with Master + 8 + NN + #1 + 3. Using that code for a valid panel command behaves normally at the keypad while transmitting a DURESS event here.
PUBLIC RELEASE HISTORY

Vista Emulator DELUXE Changelog

v1.4.10 — TouchCenter isolation + inline authorization

  • 6270 and 6271CV now keep their visual assets isolated; the monochrome 6270 no longer inherits color-only screen styling.
  • Arming and disarming authorization now stays on the Security page instead of redirecting into Console Mode.
  • AWAY / STAY / NIGHT always request a user code; when Quick Arm is enabled, a separate Quick Arm control is shown.

v1.4.4 — Source-frame fidelity

  • Rebuilt More Choices from the supplied SWF display list instead of an invented 3×3 dashboard.
  • Only source-frame controls are shown there: Show Zones, Console Mode, Event Logs, Operating Modes, and Setup.
  • Removed the on-screen development caption and arbitrary control stretching.

v1.4.3 — TouchCenter SWF stage reconstruction

  • Rebuilt the 6270 and 6271CV around the actual physical housing imagery embedded in the supplied SWFs instead of a generic CSS bezel.
  • Recovered the native 320×240 screen rectangle and Security-page control coordinates from the SWF display-list transforms, so AWAY, STAY, NIGHT, MORE CHOICES, HOME, BACK, and the 6271CV clock art land at source-native positions.
  • Restored the genuine 6270 MEDICAL bitmap discovered in the SWF and added source physical LED overlays and 6270 bezel-key hit regions without replacing the original shell art.
  • Fixed touchscreen action routing so source-extracted controls using data-touch-action are actually clickable.

v1.4.2 — SWF source-asset fidelity

  • Every graphical control inside the 6270 and 6271CV now uses a raster asset extracted directly from the supplied SWF files; no substitute SVG/vector keypad artwork is used.
  • Temporarily omitted the 6270 MEDICAL control because the initial asset scan did not identify its JPEG/bitmap tag; the genuine source asset was recovered in v1.4.3.
  • Removed fallback HOME/Monitoring Center graphics that were not present in the SWF source. Source-native navigation remains on the simulated touchscreen; emulator-only integrations stay outside the keypad artwork.
  • Added an auditable SWF source-asset manifest containing original tag filenames, dimensions, and SHA-256 hashes.

v1.4.1 — 6270 / 6271CV implementation hotfix

  • Fixed the v1.4 cache/runtime mismatch and actually loaded the touchscreen keypad runtime.
  • Integrated extracted 6270/6271CV button families, panel state, console input, bypass tools, and Monitoring Center data.

v1.3 — Programming cursor & pixel-grid fidelity

  • Locked the 6150, 6160, and 6160V keycaps into exact four-row grids with uniform key dimensions and no per-key positioning deviations.
  • Added a genuine flashing underline cursor to alpha-keypad programming displays; the selected character remains visible while the underline flashes beneath it.
  • Reworked *56 pre-populated zone/attribute editing so typed digits replace the selected position, advance the cursor, and wrap at the field width.
  • Changed the write selector to Field ? and refined Zone Type, Report Code, Program Alpha, Custom Words, and alpha-descriptor entry.

v1.2 — Monitoring Center

  • Added a persistent, clearable Monitoring Center at the bottom of the emulator that acts as a simulated central-station receiver.
  • Alarm transmissions now appear with event type, zone number/descriptor, partition, report code, and timestamp when the zone has a programmed report code.
  • Duress-authority users now generate a dedicated, prominently highlighted DURESS transmission while the keypad continues to behave normally and silently.
  • Communication tests are delivered to the Monitoring Center; programmed open/close and bypass report fields also feed the receiver.
  • Monitoring history is stored separately from panel NVRAM and remains until the Monitoring Center's Clear Events button is used.

v1.1 — Vista Emulator DELUXE

  • The emulator now carries its official public name prominently throughout the interface: Vista Emulator DELUXE.
  • Added a dedicated DELUXE title treatment to the startup screen and a persistent branded identity in the running status panel.
  • Updated the browser title, changelog, README, and cache revision to v1.1 without changing the validated v1.0.8.11 panel behavior.

v1.0.8.11 — Bypass command reliability

  • Fixed successful manual bypass leaving the keypad in bypass-number entry, which could swallow the next command for roughly 10–15 seconds.
  • Confirmed and hardened Quick (Forced) Bypass: code + 6 + # bypasses all currently faulted bypassable zones when installer field *23 is enabled for the partition.
  • Changed the active alpha bypass-entry prompt to BYPAS and kept individual bypass confirmation in the same VISTA-style abbreviation.
  • After exit delay completes with bypassed zones, armed alpha displays retain the armed mode on line 1 and show ZONE BYPASSED on line 2.

v1.0.8.10 — Source-project behavior audit

  • Audited the active alarm, arming/delay, function-key, fixed-English display, and sound-routing code against the supplied 6150 and 6160V Scratch projects.
  • Removed a life-safety key-handler bug that intercepted the first digit 1 of a normal disarm code during fire/CO, which could make fire alarms appear impossible or unreliable to clear.
  • Corrected the 6150 delay sound source: the source project's arming2 file is a silent timing track, not the keypad warning tone. The emulator now uses the actual 6150 arming sound for entry/exit warnings and temporal-three fire cadence.
  • Made audible AWAY/MAXIMUM and entry delay start with three real warning pulses before voice, then resume the correct model-specific warning after speech.
  • Preserved fire/CO/burglary sounder priority when additional alarm zones trip, made 6150 multi-alarm fixed-English cycling follow the common alarm-zone cycle, and corrected NOT READY voice status wording.
  • Hardened A/B/C/D handling across native, swapped, auxiliary, and keyboard input; a No Label key is always inert and *58 navigation now works from swapped/auxiliary keypads.
  • Imported behavior/reference information and two 6150 sound files only. No website image asset was replaced or imported from either Scratch project.

v1.0.8.9 — Backlight, function-key, and fire-alarm reliability

  • No Label Applied now disables that function key instead of retaining a stale emergency assignment.
  • Added a 30-second inactivity backlight timer; programming, entry/exit delay, key activity, and active alarms force the backlight on.
  • Unified the 6160 and 6160V alpha-LCD color palette.
  • Function-key holds now cancel when the pointer rolls off the physical key, even when released outside the stage.
  • Rebuilt fire panic cadence as temporal-three, made two-stage fire memory clearing reliable, and cancel queued alarm speech when the alarm is silenced/disarmed.

v1.0.8.8 — Custom A/B/C/D label system

  • Added the complete 19-costume custom function-key label sheet from the supplied Scratch sprite, rendered as SVG paths on 6150, 6160, and 6160V keypads.
  • Each of A/B/C/D can be labeled independently; lower keys use an exact 23-pixel stage-space vertical step from the top A key.
  • Named label presets program matching emergency, paging, time, arming, output, or test functions while remaining editable later through installer *57.
  • Implemented live Output Device behavior for LIGHTS/AUX/AUX2 label presets, including independent persistent on/off state.

v1.0.8.7 — Perimeter protection during exit delay

  • Zone Type 03 Perimeter points are now armed immediately when arming begins.
  • Opening a perimeter window/contact during the exit delay triggers the burglary alarm immediately instead of waiting for the countdown to expire.
  • Entry/Exit zones keep their normal exit-time allowance, and alarms originating during exit delay retain the armed-state indication.

v1.0.8.6 — Delay and alarm voice sequencing

  • Corrected AWAY/MAXIMUM arming lead-in: audible-exit programming now uses the entry/exit warning burst before voice; silent-exit programming uses a double ding and no repeating warning.
  • Entry delay now begins with the warning burst, then 6160V announces Disarm system now, then the warning resumes.
  • Alarm details wait 10 seconds after a zone trips. Multiple active alarm zones are then announced as one batch with a two-second pause between zones, followed by another 10-second sounder interval.
  • Normal code+OFF while already disarmed no longer produces a redundant voice announcement.

v1.0.8.5 — Multi-zone alarm voice

  • Alarm displays now cycle through every violated zone every five seconds, and voice keypads announce the matching zone continuously while the alarm remains active.
  • Programmed alpha descriptors are spoken as Alarm. Front Door.; zones without alpha fall back to Alarm. Zone. <number>.
  • Alarm tones pause while a voice prompt is speaking and resume when the prompt finishes.
  • The first disarm with alarm memory remaining announces Disarmed. Not. Ready to arm.

v1.0.8.4 — 6150 keypad fidelity

  • Locked the 6150 keycaps to the exact four-column/four-row geometry from the supplied Scratch keypad project, with one consistent physical keycap size.
  • Replaced the 6160 exit-delay beep on a 6150-initiated arming cycle with the 6150's own arming/countdown audio from the source project.
  • Added the live entry/exit-delay time to the 6150's three-digit seven-segment display.

v1.0.8.3 — Door interaction / 6150 swing-door hotfix

  • Removed the closed-door hitbox from the A/B/C/D cutout so exposed function keys no longer open the cover when pressed.
  • Restored the Honeywell 6150's full ten-costume swing-door animation using the supplied Scratch project behavior.
  • Restored the 6150 layer transition: costumes 1–5 render in front of the keypad and costumes 6–10 move behind it, matching the source project.
  • Preloaded 6150 door costumes and gave intermediate frames guaranteed paint time so browsers cannot collapse the motion into a simple open/closed jump.

v1.0.8.2 — Keycap alignment hotfix

Preserved each path-based keycap's native aspect ratio inside the larger click/touch hitboxes, correcting stretched legends on the taller keys.

v1.0.8.1 — Startup/cache hotfix

Fixed the v1.0.8 initialization-order regression and corrected runtime/cache versioning so normal refreshes load the new assets.

v1.0.8 — Path-based SVG keycaps

  • Replaced all keypad key label artwork with SVG path-based keycaps sourced from the new enclosed Scratch asset set.
  • Applied the new keycaps consistently across the 6160, 6150, and 6160V keypad variants.
  • Removed dependence on browser or OS text rendering for key legends, improving cross-platform visual consistency and compatibility.
  • Added a cache-busting keycap asset revision so updated key labels reliably replace older cached SVGs after deployment.

v1.0.7 — Manual parity pass

  • Cross-checked core user operation and installer programming against VISTA-15P/20P user/programming guides.
  • Corrected Night-Stay Zone List 5, Chime-by-Zone List 3, Interior Follower, Day/Night, fire verification, CO, bypass, Walk Test, and Exit Delay Restart/Reset behavior.
  • Separated *58 Expert Mode from *56, completed the documented *81 delete-zone path, and corrected *96/*97 initialization behavior.
  • Added this public changelog and a packaged parity-audit report. Hardware-only/output/communications subsystems that are not yet simulated are explicitly identified rather than presented as complete.

v1.0.6 — Programming navigation

Fixed *56 pre-populated zone entry, SET TO CONFIRM acceptance, next-zone progression, field-review navigation, and programming-time A/B/C/D isolation.

v1.0.5 — Mobile audio/performance

Reworked mobile audio startup/fallbacks, reduced preload cost, cached LCD work, and removed expensive mobile visual effects.

v1.0.4 — Startup prompt order

Start Emulator now precedes the creator notice; the notice became reliably dismissible and closing it stops its audio.

v1.0.3 — 6160V/LCD integration

Refined 6160V arming speech, installed the local LCD display font, moved Message Center controls onto the keypad, and integrated the creator notice assets.

v1.0.2 / v1.0.1

Improved 6160V arming announcements, 6150-specific sounds and cover animation, rolling command recovery, and programming-screen alignment.

v1.0 — Public release

Promoted the multi-keypad VISTA-20P emulator to public release with 6150, 6160 and 6160V support, persistent programming, zone devices, voice behavior, and installer programming.
